Standing up in the middle of the room, you glance at all the cardboard boxes that surround you. All of the furniture has arrived to your new house and Austin has spent the past two days setting everything up and making sure it’s sturdy and also baby proofing things. Sighing out loud, you faintly smile and walk over to the boxes to begin unpacking them. Stacking things up one by one you wander in and out of rooms. Opening up a fresh box you instantly smile at the photo that’s on top of the pile. Picking it up, your fingertips trace the edge of the frame. You remember that night so well; the cool ocean breeze against your cheeks as you walked down the aisle, seeing Austin standing at the end eagerly awaiting you and the beautiful vows exchanged. “what are you looking at babe?” Austin asks as he walks into the room huffed from fixing up things around the place. “Our wedding photo.” You glance back at him with a smile as you hold it up. “That was one day I will never forget.” Austin says as he comes up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist as he rests his chin on your shoulder. “Everything was perfect. It still is perfect because you are here.” He kisses you on your blushing cheeks. “That was one year ago.” You remind Austin. “I know.” He smiles “And things have never been better. I will never forget the day you told me you were pregnant.” Austin adds before giving you a tight squeeze. “Wedding nights!” you say as Austin laughs at our comment. Going into the living room you place the photo alongside other family photos. “Wedding nights!” Austin repeats as he passes by. Chuckling to yourself, you look up at the photos and look at how lucky you are to have amazing family, friends, husbands and a child. ~brett
