Stanwood Police Blotter 03-14 -2014 On 3-7-14, an 18 year old LaConner male is being referred for Felony Distribution of Marijuana in the 26600 block of 72nd Av NW and an 18 year old Stanwood male is being referred for Possession of Marijuana. Police had observed suspicious activity at that location and contacted the suspects. The seller had a Medical Marijuana card. On 3-8-14, a 46 year old Stanwood male was arrested on a warrant in the 28700 block of 68th Av NW. On 3-8-14, a parent in the 26800 block of 92nd Av NW reported a violation of a court order while exchanging custody of their child; investigation revealed no violation occurred. On 3-8-14, items were stolen from the 27000 block of 104th DR NW. On 3-10-14, a parent reported an elementary school student threatened her daughter at school in the 27900 block of 68th Av NW. The school officials have put a safety plan in place. On 3-12-14, two vehicles collided in the 7500 block of SR 532. One driver was following too closely and unable to stop in time. On 3-12-14, a business in the 26600 block of 72nd Av NW suspected a woman of shoplifting. Police contacted her and found no proof of stolen items. On 3-12-14, mail items have been stolen from the 27200 block of 101st Av NW on at least two occasions. On 3-12-14, a 21 year old transient male is being referred for Criminal Trespass in the 26600 block of 72nd Av NW. He had previously been given notice not to come on the property. On 3-13-14, a vehicle was stolen from the 27200 block of 102nd Av NW sometime overnight. On 3-13-13, a 28 year old Stanwood man was arrested in the 7300 block of 284th St NW and booked into jail for warrants and Taking a Motor Vehicle Without Permission in the 27200 block of 102nd AV NW the night before. On 3-13-14, a 17 year old Stanwood male is being referred for Malicious Mischief 3rd DV in the 26000 block of 72nd Av NW. He had punched holes in a wall in his mother’s home. On 3-13-14, a 16 year old Stanwood male was booked into the Denney Youth Center for Assault 4 in the 26700 block of 72nd Av NW. He had been involved in an altercation with several other males. On 3-14-14, several items were stolen from a business in the 27000 block of 92nd Av NW. The suspect had attempted to pay for items with what appeared to be altered or washed checks. When those checks did not process, she grabbed some items and left. It appears she also stole a backpack left in a vehicle that was parked next to hers. Police were unable to located the suspect vehicle.
