Stanwood Police Blotter 07-31-2014 On 7-23-14, a business in the 8700 block of 269th St NW was a victim of marketing fraud; investigation continues. On 7-24-14, a city water meter in the 27800 block of 86th Dr NW was damaged so that water service could be continued; police were called and the meter re-installed. On 7-25-14, checks were forged and passed at a business in the 27000 block of 92nd Av NW and the fraudulent use of a stolen debit card was attempted. Investigation continues. On 7-26-14, a 25 year old Stanwood man is being referred for Theft 3rd Shoplifting in the 26600 block of 72nd Av NW. On 7-28-14, an Arlington woman reported harassment; she states she is being pulled into a custody battle between her ex-boyfriend and his ex-wife. She was advised to petition for a court order if applicable. On 7-29-14, a garage door was damaged in the 7200 block of 261st St NW. On 7-29-14, a resident of the 9500 block of 271st St NW reported a relative broke into the home and stole a bank full of coins. On 7-30-14, a vehicle was damaged in the 26900 block of 104th Dr NW. On 7-30-14, a fight occurred in a residence in the 7800 block of 263rd PL NW. Both male teens claim the other initiated the assault. Investigation continues. On 7-30-14, a 16 year old teen, listed as a runaway from Camano Island, reported being assaulted in the 27100 block of 72nd Av NW. She was checked out by medics and released to her parents. On 7-31-14, a 21 year old Arlington woman was caught shoplifting in the 26600 block of 72nd Av NW.
