Star Wars, Episode VII Updates/Believable Rumors that you may or may not of heard yet - Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) will all be returning to feature in the movie (Confirmed by Carrie Fisher in an interview) - R2D2 will be back, but hes going to be a fully robotic droid (No little man inside him) - C3PO was originally in Lucass plans for the whole sequel trilogy as part of his vision, but Bob Iger has only named R2 as the only official cast member so well have to wait and see where that one goes - J.J Abrams (known for Lost and Star Trek) will be the Director, and hes helped write it. Have faith, guys, he knows what hes doing - George Lucas had wrote the story line, so its still his work. He also made the crew sign documents of secrecy so the story line wont leak (theyve been amazing at keeping it under wraps so far) - It will be set 30 years after the Original Trilogy (more specifically, Return of the Jedi) - The first two weeks of filming is said to be in Morocco, although Carrie Fisher has implied some of the movie will be shot in London - Filming begins in less than 6 weeks, on May 14th (Coincidentally, the month of Star Wars) - When asked about casting and main characters, Abrams replied The Dark Side is always where you least expect it. Thats all I can say at this time. and it is suspected that he has left digital clues as to the cast - Adam Driver has been confirmed to play a Darth Vader-like Villain, which leaves me thinking that hes going to be a Sith - There is large suspicion that the movie will generally follow Leia and Hans child/children (which would explain why the trio will be featuring) Aaaaand thats all Ive scoped out so far. Im way too excited!!!
