We currently have 10 birds available for adoption. In addition to helping our domestic feathered friends, did you know we also help rehab injured and orphaned wild animals? Since the start of the new year, our wildlife program, Dane County Humane Societys Four Lakes Wildlife Center, has already been very busy caring for a bald eagle, three tundra swans, a snowy owl, goose, red tailed hawks and other wild animals. Five of those animals came in with extreme lead poisoning and were working hard to help them recover.
