Star passes Man United medical, will complete €50m transfer in coming days Spanish newspaper Marca have a big feature on the future of Radaeml Falco on Wednesday. They state that Manchester United have now decided to make the Colombians transfer permanent and will pay a total of €50m to do so. Falcao originally arrived at Old Trafford on loan from AS Monaco during the summer and theres been all kinds of claims about loan fees and how much a permanent deal would actually cost. Marca say Manchester United have paid €10m as a loan fee and will pay another €40m to make the transfer permanent. Therefore the total cost, according to the Spanish newspaper, is just under £39m for the 28 year old striker. Its claimed that Falcao has been subject to medical tests over the past few days on his previously injured knee, and hes passed all of those. The knee is now in much better shape than when Falcao arrived and Marca say that Manchester United are convinced enough to go through with the deal. Louis van Gaal has apparently given his approval to the deal and Falcaos agent Jorge Mendes is said to have met AS Monacos owner Vadim Vasilyev in Dubai to close things at that end. Marca sound very sure indeed but theres been so many contradicting claims on Falcao that its impossible to work out how much truth is in each.
