Started on my first batch of homemade wine yesterday. 1/2 gallon of 100% red grape juice (Welchers) 1 cup of sugar 1 package of bread yeast Directions: Remove about 8oz of juice from container (drunk it if you must) Carefully pour in sugar and shake vigorously until completely dissolved Add package of yeast and let sit for about 30 second put cap on and shake vigorously again for 2 mins Loosen cap with one small turn just enough to allow air to escape Set bottle in a dark place Check back often juice should be bubbly. After about a week bubbles should be gone And there you have it yummy wine. *drink responsibly xoxo
