Started the day watching Noble breathing with that slack jaw, not recognizing us, watching him watch unseens. My beloved shaved him, washed his hair, gussied him up and by the end of that, he was HERE. He asked for a fried pie. A FREAKIN FRIED PIE. He asked for his walker. SO HE CAN WALK. < he cant yet but hell, he might be doing it by tomorrow afternoon.> We. Cant. Believe. It. - Stunned is the word my brother used. Ill second that. You people are miracle workers. The outpouring of love has clearly seeped through because Im telling you. he was knock knock knockin. Miracle workers. All of you. Lazarus Atkins. I swear Im changing his name. Maybe thats why he had my brother read that particular passage the other night. Good. Heavens. I feel like a rubberband that has been pulled allllll the way around to China and back.
