Started the lasagna bedding for the new corn patch and will continue adding layers each week until we have built it 4-8 high. Many thanks to Atsuko, George, Amber Jade, Cindy Bauman, Kendal, Mike and myself. Divined an elegant oval bamboo design by the incomparable Wes Cheney for the new pen roof, revised plans to harvest and build when we next have our service men and women volunteers. Please bring over old newspapers and bagged leaves and pine needles for creating the layers in the new corn patch and planned berry patches. The compost also needs your table scraps. Just add them to the first section of the compost, and please remember no meat.
