Started walking this creek yesterday at around 10:00 am finished with 28 turtles at exactly 12:55 am. Took a quick break to get our lights and a bite to eat. Walked over 8 hard miles of creek. The last 4 1/2 hours by head lights. Had a few close encounters with a few snakes and fell head first at least twice into the dark cold creek. But all in all I had a great day now to start it all over again!!
