Starting Sept. 10, claimants who file online must enter weekly work search data into expanded online systemThe Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is updating its online system for claimants who choose to file their weekly UI claims through the Internet. The following changes take effect the evening of Wednesday, September 10, 2014: 1. Claimants who file weekly claims over the Internet and are legally required to look for work will need to enter weekly work search information in the online system every time they file weekly claims, just as they currently must retain paper records of their weekly work searches for one year. 2. Claimants will be able to use a personal computer or mobile device to enter the required work search information to complete their claims. They will have options to print a copy of their online log for that week before they log out of the application.
