Starting off the new year with a clean page, it is tempting to review the possibilities that lie ahead. One thing I know is that there is a window of opportunity for new candidates. Most of the candidates who fell into that category I knew realized that they needed at least a year to organize, get on the ballots of most States and qualify, win over local parties against the prospect of other primary candidates, raise the necessary money, win approbation and win in the Primary in prep for the Election; that limits the field significantly. I would love to see real choice here and full representation by minority and gender. Therefore, while Hillary could still enter half way through the year, a newbie will have to build exposure early and build a head of steam and the window of opportunity is not open all that wide...
