Starting out the new Month of Dec. with good news: I would like to congratulate my son, Michael E. McGehee, for the 25th Anniversary of his career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons!! While I have not been there with him all these yrs. I know that he has worked hard, he has had his share of turmoil, his share of stress & turmoil, but he has stuck to it, & he has done it well. He has always stayed with whatever disaster there may have been (like when the storm hit Beaumont Prison) he had to stay for days, couldnt get to his home in Beaumont to check on his own property; etc. & he has had a very long hard 25 yrs. I think I have all the yrs correct: l yr at the Oakdale Federal Prison (his 1st assignment) 3 yrs. in Three Rivers, Federal Prison there, 2 yrs. at Carville (when they had located the Federal Prison there) about 15 yrs. at the Federal Bureau of Prisons starting from a brand new facility there, & then on to Fed. Prison in downtown Houston! So Mike, we are so proud of You, Your Dad & I have always been so proud of you, worried much, but so far, you have stood the test of time with that career & we are all so proud!! We love You!!
