Starting this coming schoolyear, our beloved Alma Mater, the U.P. Diliman, will start the academic year in the month of August instead of June. My daughter Mika Gancayco who is taking up ECE is very happy. I am not yet sure about my son Jon Gancayco who is taking up his MBA also in UP Diliman. One thing is for sure though, local tourism, during the hot summer days, will be severely affected. Thank you, Bonki Fojas- Almirante!
