Starting to cab my new Mexican amber and it left my hands feeling super sticky. I tried soap... mechanics soap with pumice.. nail brush... even nail polish remover! Nothing took it off! My husband looked online and saw PEANUT BUTTER!!! I said hey, whatever, and slathered my hands with peanut butter. Left it on 1 minute, rinsed it all off... and it didnt feel sticky anymore. Is it the oil in it? Would veggie oil work the same way? Anyway, Ill probably wear gloves next time. Hate that sticky feeling! Here are some pics of my amber with light behind it. The second two look yellower in the photo than in real life... the first picture captures the color pretty accurately.
