Starting to get nervous, excited, and ready for the big move to NYC anytime now. I’m feeling overwhelmed by it all, getting all those ducks in a row. Today I cleaned out my storage unit and got rid of everything. I’m sure I will have to downsize even more. I have to sell my car, possibly my couch, and other stuff. I’d like to find somewhere big enough to keep everything I have for a one bedroom. I know Williamsburg is hipsterville but it reminds me of home. It reminds me of Portland and being a million miles away from home to find that little oasis in NYC was calming. It was familiar and I like familiar. I have a teacher that used to work in NYC that is offering to try and help me find a job. There’s a lot of work ahead of me with so much planning and August is the drop dead date but I can go as soon as tomorrow, if I found a job. There is nothing holding me back here anymore. I got my foot surgery done, school is online for electives, now its just finding the time to start getting those ducks in a row….
