Starting to plan this month contribution to our apartment pot luck dinner. Some lovely pumpkins at our local Eat Fresh Market, 1.99 any size. A friend made this once, and am going to do it. Basically, stew, finished inside a pumpkin, slow baked in the oven. Will use potato, carrots, turnip, red pepper, onion or leeks, yam, and some nice stew beef. With garlic, and some zippy spices. Should be tasty and wintery.
