Starting today we will be posting general discussion concepts on our page where people can post civil, thoughtful responses,share with friends and help spread good information more effectively. With the start of the new year many athletes are looking to diet or gain effective weight for their sport. The most effective diet or nutritional program is the one that does not discriminate against macronutrients, is adjusted based on revised schedules of activity and accounts for the stressors the athlete is placing on their system. However beyond this concept is the simple fact that the most effective weight loss or weight gain protocol is the one that is adhered to day in and day out. Consistency of eating and intake of proper nutrients will always allow the athlete to perform better than limiting programs that limit important food groups necessary for that athlete or simply a nutritional program that the athlete doesnt buy into. There is no magic food and no magic supplement that will work better than a thoughtful systematic approach built with daily consistency
