Starting tonight Ill be teaching homophones on here. I often see them being misused with a status that is aiming at being Standard English. Ill be referring to the most common used. #JustHelping Homophones are words that sound alike but different in meaning and spelling. The first set Ill be starting with is: Their- belonging to. Eg; Somebody has left their phone on the bus. There- referring to a place. Eg; The bus park is over there. Theyre - A contraction of they are Eg; Theyre going on a trip to Paris. Goodnight Fb!
