State Records was representing at the ICAM (International Confederation of Architectural Museums) Australasia Conference in Adelaide today. The emphasis during the two day event is on exhibitions, displays and publications that draw on the archival collections from a variety of institutions. Today we visited the State Library of South Australia, the Rare Books and Special Collections of the Barr Smith Library at Adelaide University, Art Gallery of South Australia, Artlab, and the Migration Museum. We were witness to exhibitions and displays that ranged from big budget to no budget, with a common theme of ingenuity and innovation running between them all. More tomorrow.
