State number 3 - OREGON .... Did you know the state flag of Oregon has 2 different designs, one on each side.. pretty interesting to me. The deepest gorge in the US is also there, and is roughly 8,000 feet deep.. so watch your step!! The largest log cabin in the world was built there in 1971, and also the largest cheese factory is there. The NIKE company is headquartered in Oregon, and a HATFIELD (Tinker Hatfield) is the man who has designed a large majority of the famous (Michael) JORDAN shoes among other of Nikes shoes and apparel. Ive never been to Oregon, but sure wouldnt mind a visit. Portland is the most widely known city, but its not the capitol and doesnt seem to be the most attractive place for visitors as they have nice mountains, as well as a nice coastline... and the world famous Crater Lake. It is the deepest lake in the US and is actually inside an old volcano. Its not only famous for those facts, but also for its apparently extremely blue waters. I think Id rather see that than the city of Portland too. Anybody know anything else about Oregon, ever been there, wanna go there, or wanna just find an interesting fact? Lets hear it..
