State of the State Address Live on MPB JACKSON. – Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) is broadcasting Governor Phil Bryant’s State of the State address live on Wednesday, January 21 at 5 p.m. The gavel to gavel coverage airs on MPB television and radio as well as streaming on mpbonline.org/stateofthestate. The broadcast includes the Democratic response following Governor’s Bryant’s address. Smart phone owners can listen via the MPB Radio app. “As our state’s top executive, it is important for Mississippians to hear the vision and goals outlined by our governor,” said Ronnie Agnew, MPB’s executive director. “It has always been MPB’s honor to bring the governor’s state of the state speech to every household in Mississippi. We take seriously our mission to inform, educate and enlighten citizens on the views and actions of those who represent us.”
