State police at Hazleton have a West Hazleton man in custody after an assault Tuesday morning. Troopers accused Emmanuel Paulino, 30, of allegedly shoving his fist in a womans anus and ripping out a piece of her stomach inside a Hazle Township home. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said. According to sources, Paulino was on the illegal drug MDMA, also know as Molly, While being walked into his preliminary arraignment at the office of Magisterial District Judge James Dixon, Paulino offered only one comment to reporters, saying he had Jesus on his side.
