Statement by Czarina Hermoso, Binibining Pilipinas USA Tourism 2014 “Although my family is saddened that my short-term reign as the new Binibining Pilipinas USA title holder has been cut short, and the glory that they felt has come to an end, I honestly felt most sad, not because I am no longer the new title holder, but because of the heartbreaking disappointment I felt from my family. “As the young person I am today, I have learned that integrity is what really matters, and Christelle Abello is the rightful owner of the new crown. “I was more than happy to give up my crown and accept the second highest title as the new Binibining Pilipinas USA Tourism. Im happy for my co-contestant and friend, Christelle because I know how much time and effort was put into this pageant, and I cant be any more happier because if I were to be crowned as the BPUSA title holder, I would want my friends and peers to be happy for me as well. We candidates have all put so much time and effort into this pageant, and we are all winners. I can only hope to move forward from this situation and think on the positive side as your newly crowned Binibining Pilipinas USA Tourism.”
