Statement from Bronx Borough President Diaz on the U.S. Department of Education awarding Hostos Community College a Title V Grant: “I would like to congratulate Hostos Community College for receiving a $2.6 Million Title V Grant award from the United States Department of Education. “Receiving an award of this magnitude recognizes Hostos’ leadership in providing quality education to students from diverse backgrounds. This grant will help Hostos Community College further its commitment in providing an array of innovative programs to help train and empower the next generation of leaders. I look forward to seeing the tremendous impact this grant will have on students and the entire institution,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.
