Statement from the Mayor of Miami today. The people of Miami have spoken. Dealing with this event for the past several years has caused nothing but a nuisance to the city, it’s people and it’s image. In spite of the precautionary measures that were taken this year to ensure a safe and friendly festival for all, there were too many disruptions that yielded negative results and thus, we have decided to pass on renewing Ultra Music Festival’s request for a return in 2015….
