Staten Island Mall is about to be conquered with firstly a breakfast on the go for the guys.... and then some retail therapy, for those that like doing that stuff cos theyre all geezers......So theres no in and out of the same shops 14 times and circling something like a Tiger Shark until like any unsuspecting prey it can be picked off - the shelf that is... And just because its £50 instead of £100 it doesnt mean you have an extra £50 to spend !!!! Sorry people just putting it out there !!! Lock and load were off......Pier 16 Here we come - yes were taking to the water, step forward RM Steve with your sea feet....... We get on board and everyones excited for the landscape show and the wedding of a fellow Firefighter Brother Higgie to his Control Officer wife (to be) The boat is a sea taxi - its painted yellow !!! Does that not mean its a SUBMARINE ?? How many yellow boats have you ever seen however theres a very well known song about a yellow S******* - Right ? Quick search of the decks to make sure there no Paul or Ringo - just in case.... Then we all board. A few blasts of the ships horn and were off, were treated to a splendid wedding with the Bride and Groom holding each other up as the boat bobs along with the waves.... Then as like magic as the wedding is complete and the boat just starts up the Statue of Liberty lights up as does the City of New York. If ever there was a sign that was it - so we find ourselves cruising back into the Manhattan pier with the City waking and lighting up for its evening performance FANTASTIC Congratulations to both and may their days be happy and shared for ever, two great people that deserve to be happy together.
