States look to the past for execution methods. Tennessee jumped - TopicsExpress

States look to the past for execution methods. Tennessee jumped out front this week with a law that could essentially bring back the electric chair. Elsewhere, Rep. Paul Ray (R) of Utah says firing squads would be a quick & humane way to put someone to death. Wyoming lawmakers are talking about firing squad, too. Missouri law allows for the gas chamber & politicians from both parties last year suggested rebuilding one. If you could make the decision, what punishment would you choose for criminals sentenced to death? Do you think there should be different methods used for different types of crimes? bit.ly/S1zVRg
