Statism bothers me more than Theism/Atheism. A lot of people are the very opposite. Very militant atheists on here. Sure you can dismiss someone of faith, walk away, and close the door on a witness. But you cant close the door when the shiny badges come, or the IRS. It seems harder to tell a Statist that they are voting your rights away. By voting alone you are subjecting the populations rights to the mere winners of the ruling class. Its pretty hard to walk away from that or dismiss it. Its pretty hard to establish the fact that the political/governmental process is aggression in itself. Why are we fighting amongst people who choose to follow a voluntary ideology? Unless you impose it on me I dont care what you believe minus a monopoly of force. If you believe in Dragons, Zeus, or some higher power so be it. If you believe in the State and use its power you impose upon me and my free will. You use violence and coercion as a means to get your ends.
