Statistical Officer (OG-2) Jobs in State Bank of Pakistan Posted: 25 Nov 2013 01:36 AM PST Required Statistical Officer (OG-2): Under Statistical Officers Training Program (SOTP) State Bank of Pakistan the central bank of the country, is continuously undertaking various initiatives to strengthen its institutional capacities. In order to ensure upkeep of our Statistics and Data Warehouse Department and to bring it at par with international standards, SBP is looking for high caliber and dynamic professionals interested in a stable but challenging career opportunity and willing to make a difference through excellence. Eligibility Criteria: Education: Masters Degree or equivalent in Statistics with at least 60% marks, where percentage system applies OR minimum 3.00 CGPA, where GPA system applies from a HEC recognized Pakistani or a foreign university. Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply. Candidates should have completed all requirements of Masters Degree and shall attach attested copies of Provisional Certificate/Final Transcript etc. Age: Maximum 28 years, as on last date of submission of applications, which is relaxable by three years for candidates from FATA, Northern Areas (Gilgit, Baltistan) and Azad Kashmir. Selection Procedure: The eligible candidates will appear in the Written Test to be conducted by NTS. Only those who qualify the Written Test will be called for interview. Final selection will depend on the marks obtained in the Written Test and the Panel Interview, in order of merit. All appointments in State Bank of Pakistan are made in compliance with the prescribed regional/provincial quota requirements by the Federal Government. Pre-Induction Training: Selected candidates after completion of all Pre-induction formalities shall be required to undergo Applied Focused Theoretical Training (residential) at National Institute of Banking and Finance, Islamabad (NIBAF). Compensation Package: Consolidated monthly monetized salary of Rs. 45,900/- in the salary range of Rs. 45,900-107,100. Medical facility for self, dependent spouse and dependent children only as per Banks rules. Staff Loans and other benefits/allowances, as admissible under New Compensation & Benefits Structure as per Banks rules.
