Status Update: BARAMULLA TOWN: Iqbal Hakim from Baramulla reports that the town is fine. Landlines have been restored. They have power and water. He is not sure about surrounding villages but I had visited the main affected areas on September 6. I posted an update on that the very same day. The damage there is relatively low compared to Srinagar. So, overall (so far) I am grateful that Baramulla is doing fine.
