Status Update By Mary Apple-of Gods-eye DIVINE WISDOM ON MARBLE FOR DAILY RIGHTEOUS LIVING!!!!! THERE IS A THIN LINE!!!!! Please be careful – there is a thin line between having liberty in Christ and actually excusing sin - being complacent in it, LOVING the world and the things in this world. The enemy is exceedingly crafty. His tricks, enticements and lures are usually dished out in little bits, very subtly and cunningly, without you ever suspecting. Always remember that satan is older and wiser than you are. Employing God’s matchless wisdom, you MUST set limits for yourself using God’s word and being very sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit amidst all the noise in and around you, otherwise, you will easily, unsuspectingly and ignorantly cross over to the broad way (satan’s nest) without realizing it quick enough. LOVING the things in the world is NOT the same thing as USING the things in the world; many things we do and use in this world are NOT sinful in themselves, however, they can become open doors and channels to real and actual sin. You MUST identify such things and actions and have a definite plan on how to avoid their influence and control over you; you MUST have a definite plan on how to keep your love for the Lord God aflame always without any single thing or person competing with God’s place in your heart. It is very easy for God to take second place in your heart and yet you still live in denial of this horrible, extremely dangerous fact. You MUST constantly submit yourself to the Holy Spirit for a minute-by-minute check up of your heart, soul, spirit and body. Our liberty in Christ is to enable us to serve the Lord and others in holiness, righteousness and truth and NOT to enable us become complacent in sin, indulge in the lust of the flesh, in the lust of the eyes and in the pride of life. God remains extremely holy; heaven remains an extremely holy place for ONLY careful, watchful, alert, pure, holy and prepared believers. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!!! Be careful that you do not abuse the grace of God and your liberty in Christ!!!! Fear the Lord and depart from all forms and appearances of iniquity. He remains a Consuming Fire!!!!! WHEN THE LORD APPEARS, WHAT OR WHO WILL HE FIND ENTHRONED IN YOUR HEART – JESUS, YOURSELF OR THE WORLD????? • “Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world–the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in ones own resources or in the stability of earthly things]–these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself]. And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides (remains) forever.” (1 John 2:15-17) • “And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). [Deut. 6:5.] This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.” (Matt. 22:37-38) • “But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I URGE YOU in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing,” (1 Tim. 6:11-14) IT IS A FEARFUL (FORMIDABLE AND TERRIBLE) THING TO INCUR THE DIVINE PENALTIES AND BE CAST INTO THE HANDS OF THE LIVING GOD!
