Status Update By Muskowekwan band members page afternoon muskowekwan .i am very disgusted at the treatment of my family members by your band manager Elaine Severight,im making a formal complaint with the band and a few good councilors..with regards to a request for a Elders travel money to his sisters funeral.he is 68 years old and lives in calgary alberta , he has cyhorris of the liver and is in very bad health. When i was trying to ask for travel assistance.your band manager just was the rudest ever,and said we helped your family and you an ask a councillor,so i said is the a councilor there whom i could speak to..and she hung up th phone... is this the way elaine treats elders on muskowekwan first nation.or do you have to be a bellrose ASSE LICKER.TO get some help when you need it.i find this conduct very unprofessinal for a person with such a huge responsability.and if this is the way she conducts herself,the councilors should take some action,unless they are bellrose s yes men...mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!! i shouldnt have to play politics to get an elder funeral expenses. i am appalled at this.and im sending a registered letter to the band administrator and the c/c to remedy this problem. and does she do this to everyone or just my famliy? please let me know.. stanley mckay
