Status report on Seal: What an outstanding greyhound, I have to brag! He is such a little Prince (only 67 pounds and built like a muscle-bound gazelle.) Last night at bedtime he went into the bedroom on his own accord and curled up on one of the doggie beds at the foot of ours. He slept through the night quiet as a mouse. He slept in until nearly 7 (nice on a weekend) then got up. The potty report is A+ museum quality not bad for a stressful day of traveling yesterday and being on new kibble. He really seems to be an easy keeper, ate all of his dinner last night, and this morning, after only one time eating at his station on the back porch, he ran out there anticipating breakfast and cleaned his bowl like a good boy. No fear what so ever of slick floors, linoleum or hard wood. Goes up and down stairs readily, though the open backed ones on the deck gave him pause, he navigated them with a little encouragement, and this morning no issues. He gets along beautifully with our boys and is quiet and unassuming, enjoying the communal crate if it is not occupied. We took a short walk last night and he is very good on the lead with no noticeable pulling. According to his former foster Mom he never had an accident in the house and he is cat safe. He will make a magnificent companion for someone!
