Stay At Rest. Good morning Precious Gems of God; And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Mathew 8:24 (NKJV) Peace is not absence of storms; it is not the absence of moments interrupted by outside or internal influences. Peace is rest in the middle of the storm. It is a matter of maintained inner peace on the inside when all hell is breaking loose on the outside. You may not have a say on what happens around you or what decisions may be taken that will influence your life in a negative manner, but what you do have is a decision on how you let it affect you. You may be in the storm but you can prevent the storm from getting into you. Refuse to let what is happening on the outside to get in and influence your spirit negatively. You do have a decision on where you would place your fears and hurts and how you would react to them. You can have total peace in the midst of raging storms. In Mathew 8:34 we read that while the storms was boisterous Jesus slept. A great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. His disciples, as we often do panicked, and told Him “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” But Jesus said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. Jesus was at total peace during the storm, He had no reason to worry or panic and let the storm influence His rest and neither do you. He had no worries, no concerns because He trusted in our heavenly father to handle them all, and in trusting Him to handle all situations, He knew God would also handle the storm. Fear and doubt causes us to loose it during the storms of life. But when fear comes in the midst of the storm, you can remain at peace and rest through it all, by standing on the word of God and His promises. God is still on the throne remain calm and stay in peace. God wants you to be stable, resting, being consistent, and not being move by you circumstance. But moving by His spirit and His word, rebuke the winds and the sea, rest and let God bring great calm. Rest and remain at peace. #DRWM
