Stayed quiet as long as I could. Act like a douche about this whole Robin Williams tragedy and get deleted. If youve not been where he was, then dont tell us what you would or would not do. The fact is, if youre fortunate enough to be reading this, chances are you never did go to as dark of a place as he. Keep your thoughts to yourself. I hate this. I hate the tragedy and unanswered questions of suicide as much as anyone, but before you call him weak, before you question his decision, or even where his soul is, try to think about the person who might be reading your comments, a person who might be on their way to that same dark place. Think about what message youd like to leave them with. Ill leave them with this. Robin Williams is gone, and will be missed like crazy. He was and is loved, far more than even he could recognize. I wish hed never done this. I wish he couldve been caught before he reached the edge. I pray that others will see the outpouring of love for Robin and know that they too are loved. I pray for those working the Suicide Prevention Hotlines that their words are heard and heeded. I pray for the advancement in treatment of those with severe depression. And I pray for the hearts of all who hurt over this. Watch out for your buddies. Watch out for your loved ones. Watch out for each other. Love wins all the time.
