Staying local for #witnessTuesday we went to the Lakewood town center to meet people. Coming out of the car, we met a young lady who sounded Christian. She used the right terminology...and even said words like repent and Jesus. I asked her if she had a religious background she answered,Yes, I go to church right down the street...Im LDS. #imamormonmagnet After taking her through the Law and Gospel,she begins to tell us about what she believes. Get this, she goes in DEEP into Mormon theology that Mormon Missionaries dont tell common folks standing at the front door. Things like Heavenly Mother, Council of the GodS, Lucifer is Jesus little brother, and all sorts of stuff. I asked her if she believes she is going to become a Goddess one day on her own planet with her God husband having spirit children for all eternity. She honestly says yes. I say,Heres Gods testimony on what you have just said. And I read Isaiah 43:10. She got visibly angry with Gods Word and started in on the,...I know...that I know, but i know... bit. We ended the convo on a pleasant note and asked her to think about what we told her. We gave her a million and I left her with some parting gifts.(The tract that got me the threat of being sued and a Bible outline tract.) Pray for Loren that she seek the Truth of Jesus for herself. That she examine what she has been taught with what is Bible Truth and choose Christ.
