Staying with the theme of family, tonight i spent the evening with my Grandfather. We sat on the couch put on some Mantracker and enjoyed a few glasses...Friends and family, dont forget about your parents and grandparents. They laid the foundation for us to stand on. To say that my Grandfather was a great man would be an understatement. He is a man who always put his family first and never apologized for what he did to protect and provide for them. He was a Magistrate in Guyana and a decorated Lawyer here in Canada. To the best of my and his knowledge, he was the first and only person to pass the Bar of England in 15 months and 1 week. (Normally takes 3 years) He dined with the Queen and was the Head of the Table for the Inner Temple Dinner. He has lived a full life and raised 5 wonderful daughters. Which I have taken the liberty of naming, The Wild One, The Strong Minded One, The Compassionate One, The Stubborn One, and The Introspective One. For my safety, I will not disclose who is who... :) I have some of the Best Aunts in the World and I have learned a lot from all of them. You all are so different, yet the same. Never forget where you came from and know that your Father Loves you all dearly. The World is Your Oyster. Friends & Family, take some time to say thank you to your parents and grandparents. If you have children, hug them tight and realize that your parents love you just as much as you love them. We dont need a fathers day or a mothers day to express the love we have for our parents. I dont express it everyday..but i hope my parents and family know how much i love and appreciate them. P.s. im pretty sure this is Grandads first Selfie lol And the certificates on the wall are letters from the Queen and Prime Minister of Canada, along with some of his professional achievements. #familyfirst
