Steads Aim high for Maryborough Media Release by Motorsport Promotions Ben Stead aims to be crowned King of Australia this weekend at Fraser Shores Maryborough Speedway. After a strong 2nd place in round 2 of the J & M Racecraft Super Series at Maryborough Speedway last month Stead wants to go one better and take the King of Australia crown this weekend. Nothing has been left to chance for this weekend with the car getting turned inside out in preparation for the event. Stead will compete against 30 of Australias best 4 Cylinder Drivers in what has become the biggest race of the year for 4 cylinder drivers. Ben goes into this weekend as one of the favourites for a top five result with a win not out of the question. Bens brother Jack will make his first appearance at Maryborough this season in the Kurt Murdoch 1000 for Productions Sedans. Jacks last visit to Maryborough wasnt much fun when his car was fired into the wall by another competitor. Although Ben was driving at the time Jack aims to do better than his brother this time round. Jack aims to qualify for the final and will be looking for a top ten result.
