Steak and kidney pie - loved by folks from the UK, particularly Scotland. I tried it once and its not as bad as it sounds. Beef kidney is a warming food, so great to feed on those cold, wet, winter days. Kidney is lower in protein than other organ meats, is low in fat, and much higher in Vitamin D. It has a good variety of trace minerals and B vitamins. Kidney should be fed to animals with kidney disease or kidney failure, as like feeds like. Be sure to rinse well before cooking or your house will smell like urine. Feeding raw is also an option.
