Steel panther is a joke that gets subsequently less funny with each album You see, in my mind humor does not excuse mediocre music. Like Psychostick is funny, and occassionally catchy, but by no means do I consider them a good band (though they are improving musically). Same with Green Jello. The song should be enjoyable first, make a point second. Which is why I never liked Vivaldis Four Seasons. I kinda wish these guys would take their considerable talents and maybe parody other genres. Or drop the parody and become a serious band. Or hell become one of the hair metal bands you mock. Although it would be a little wierd to see these guys talk about getting blown by sixteen year olds and be completely serious considering theyve been thusfar joking about it alll these years (for the most part anyway, Ill wager they get some genuine pussy thrown their way and Im not sure they say no). I still cant believe there are still 16 year olds out there who want to blow bands. I thought that whole practice fell off the edge of the map but I met one the other day, friend of a friend kind of thing (given that my friends tend to lean on the manwhore end of things, I suppose if anyone was going to be able to dig up sluts it would be them). Sooner or later theres going to be a book titled The Last Groupie. Im calling it now. Either way its a joke that really only needed to be made once. They should have released feel the steel and left it at that
