Steelhead fishing this morning on the Columbia River above McNary Dam. Coldest day of the year so far and the fish were biting. Air temperature was 16 degrees when we launched. Water temperature was 53.5 degrees. Needs to be a little colder (water temp) for the fish to get really active. My buddy Keith is checking the surroundings to see if any fish are rising.
