(Stefanie) -update-Madibeng Misdaad Forum Special Report: Sonja Jordaan At 11am I received a call from Sasol Skurweberg that 5 armed robbers were hiding in the bush nearby. The robbers are believed to be those whom fled from a blue Quantum at the southern foot of Saartjiesnek on wednesday night after a house robbery in Zandfontein. Ten members of Ifafi/ Melodie,Plotwag as well as Fidelity Security responded to Skurweberg Sasol and awaited the arrival of Hartbeespoortdam Police CPU as well as NW TRT. Atteridgevile Police, Gauteng Rural Safety Tshwane Metro Police K9 unit and Gauteng Flying Squad joined this group. Block watch members blocked all exits as far as N4 tollroad. When Police members entered the hideout area the robbers fled into thick bush towards the N4 . A massive search ensued. A victim whom was tied up confirmed that he was attacked by five suspects who fled By 1500 hrs Police were still searching the area whilst suspects still at large.
