Stella got run over by a car today. She ran into the street, getting side swiped by the front tire of massive SUV, which flung her entire little body straight under the back tire. I lost my shit as I felt her dying in my arms after the yelping stopped and her body went limp theres no way any one or anything could survive this... A few moments later she hopped up and looks me in the eyes, wagging her tail like she hasnt seen me in days... Getting run over by an Expedition would kill most humans let alone dogs, but she walked away with a couple bruises, a gangster lean and hopefully a new appreciation for the streets in the city vs our quiet street in the woods. The Vet was pretty amazed as am I. Luckiest dog on the planet and I feel like the luckiest man.
