Stella needed a breathing treatment because the antibiotics she should take at home could cause her liver function numbers higher than they already are - her antifungal (Noxifil) had to be suspended due to very high Liver Function numbers in her labs and we need to preserve liver functions prior to transplant... Cant compromise any organ function... The breathing treatment prevents pneumonia and is under this tent for 20 mins and kept Stella gagging the whole time because the taste is so foul! At least she had some fun visitors today! Current Bills Tight End, Lee Smith as well as former Buffalo Bill and founder of the Punt Foundation (supports kids with Cancer), Brian Moorman! They were making the rounds in Peds today to brighten the kids day! Stella is happy today despite it all and we will hopefully know about the results of the Bone Marrow Biopsy within the week since some needs to be sent to another lab as well as the fluids from her spinal tap.
