Transformation is not about appointing a leader of an institution on the basis of the skin colour or language of a person. Transformation, amongst other, is about appointing people who would advance inclusive and non-discriminatory access, development, and promotion of all the peoples of our land, and continent, and not merely continue with the statutes quo of apartheid in promoting sectarian interests, and ignoring the backlogs created by institutionalized discrimination over many years. It is about appointing leaders with the necessary sensitivity of our specific needs for redress and affirmative development actions, without compromising quality and standards. Is Wim that guy? I dont know.
