Stephanie Turner 12 hrs · Update on summer: after waiting yesterday at the 48 hour mark for more information from the doctor they tell us that they want to watch the cultures grow for 24 more hours to make a determination. They called me this morning to tell me that they want her to stay on the medicine she is currently taken and after these 10 days of antibiotics, Dr. Stec will call me one day next week with the best next step. Originally (before this infection) he changed her from keflex to bactrum.. So when this infection set in he put a hold on the bactrum and put her on suflex for 10 days and bactrum after.. Idk what they saw in the cultures but I do kno the feel the suflex will kill it n that instead of starting the bactrum, Dr. Stec wants to talk to us about whats best for her.. While I really want him to say shes looking good lets wait til around a year old for surgery I fear this isnt what hes going to say when he calls.. I hope Im wrong.. The success rate of surgery at her age isnt as good as if she were 12-18 months.. Also Railynn is still having problems with her throat.. We went to the Dr Thursday n he said her throat was a 4 with 4 being the worst.. She has to have tonsils n adenoids removed.. They scheduled her for Dec. 1st but Im not sure I feel comfortable with the Dr so I am looking at other drs for her now.. I kno I sound like a broken record but plz do continue to include our girls n ur prayers.. Never did I imagine the God wld think I was truly this strong.. But I wldnt trade my babies for anything in the world.. I kno all this stress n lack of understanding will come to pass.. Right now its just tough.. Thank u for always caring about these little ladies n supporting us all along the way
