Gillyard II (415)424 – 7860 Soulchild415106@gmail Together We Make Football Before I had kids football was number one in my life! Learning the game of football taught me everyday life lessons. Try even harder in the final minutes, never give up when down, fight for what you believe in, defend your friends and family, and last but not least leave it all out there on the field of life. I played football since I was 10yrs old. I was lucky to play the QB position after being a three time offensive lineman of the year. I have been a die-hard Falcons fan since I can remember. ’98 NFC Champs was an awesome season led by #32 Jamaal Anderson. The way that organization got back up after losing our franchise QB to turmoil keeps me motivated to get back up. I fell 3 floors ten months ago, and I am paralyzed from the waist down. My kids seem ok with my situation, but do express the will for me to get up and run around with them. They really watch football with me even at young ages. (5 & 3yrs old boys) Now when I watch football I get down about not being able to walk and run, but 2 plays into the game I instantly feel the rush of the game. It automatically doubles my faith, and work ethic to fuel my hopes of walking again! Although I can’t do many things with my kids now. I am set on showing them the experience of an NFL game first hand! I believe I will get them to one no matter any obstacles! I hope they will learn the game like I did and use it to be upstanding humans, and honorable men. Sure I drop tears a bit more these days. I think it’s just my body and soul cleaning itself, and dropping the heavyweight of regret that tears take out of us. God bless all and the NFL.
