After analysing the P.R.O. article on the GREEK GIFT, I discovered that Bamidele lied against Great Ife students. Hear him speak. That the report of the meeting with Senator Iyiola Omisore and the leadership of the Union with respect to the expected donation/ intervention was mentioned at a congress of Great Ife students before the Orientation programme and NOBODY Objected to it or requested that we reject the donation. Of the Greatest Ife its worthy of note that the Ibikunle led administration called a total number of FIVE(5) Congresses and in all these congresses there was no where Great Ife Students Congress agreed that the Union Leadership should accept the GREEK GIFT DONATION. LISTS OF GREAT IFE STUDENTS CONGRESSES HELD TILL DATE (1) The first Great Ife Students Congress was held on May 14th, 2014 infront of SUB and was chaired by Ibikunle. The congress agreed to externalize the struggle with a massive protest on Ife/Abuja Highway opposite O.U.I. (2) The second Congress was held June 8th, 2014 in front of Amphi because Amphi was under lock and key. It was chaired by the Vice President- Olori; The congress contributed money and agreed to continue the protest at O.U.I. (3) The third congress was held Sunday, June 15th, 2014 at Sport Complex chaired by Mr President Ibikunle. At the congress Com. Engel raised an allegation of 70k collected by Ibikunle from Senator Iyiola Omisore which he Ibikunle did not deny. The congress finally agreed to shift the protest to OAU campus. (4) The fourth congress was held June 18th, 2014 at Amphi after the school was shutdown. The congress was chaired by Ibikunle. The congress agreed that nobody should be allowed to go home. That students should continue the protest on campus. (5) And the last congress till date was held at SUB TV Room June 23, 2014 chaired by the Gen. Sec.- S.I. Unit with the P.R.O. Bamidele. The congress agreed on the followings: (1) That there should be massive press campaign across the South West. (2) That a letter of DISCLAIMER should be issued to N.A.N.S. President. (3) That we should clamour for the removal of the Education Minister, OAU VC & the DSA in our protest. (4) That a day lecture boycot should be declared in all tertiary institutions in Nigeria as a national solidarity. (5) That annexation of the Unions Secretariat be created in Lagos, Ibadan and other Geo- political zones to ease communication. (6) And that the OAU VC be declared wanted for an ACT of Genocide- Power outtage, Water stoppage and Market- Food vendors closure. From the facts above I would like to ask Mr Bamidele; Which congress of Great Ife Students told you to collect the BUS DONATION? Kindly answer this question or forever remain silent.
