Chinese is one of the earliest and the oldest enduring civilizations, with 4,500 years of unbroken history. Chinese history is recorded back to 2,500 BC. Daoism came about in the 6th century BC, with Confucianism & Buddhism coming about in the 5th century BC. Records show that China worshiped the God of the Bible, dating back to 2,500 BC, under the name, Shang Di.
